Kayak Rentals in CDA
A kayak lets you explore North Idaho's lakes, bays and hidden inlets at your own pace. We rent both inflatable and hard shell kayaks, so you can take one out for a quick morning paddle or spend the whole day on the lake.
Our kayaks
We carry inflatable and hard shell kayaks for all skill levels. They're stable and easy to paddle, so they work well for complete beginners and experienced paddlers alike, and the inflatable kayaks come with a car-ready pump.
We'll set you up with everything you need and point you toward the best launch spots and conditions for the day.

Where to paddle
- Lake Coeur d'Alene: downtown docks, Tubbs Hill, Spokane River
- Hayden Lake: calm water 15 min north of CDA
- Lake Pend Oreille: multiple launch spots, 45 min north
One block from the lake
Our shop at 1325 E Sherman Ave is one block from Lake Coeur d'Alene. Just pick up your kayak and walk down to the water, and you'll be paddling in minutes.
Walk-ins are welcome, and we're open daily from 10am to 6pm.
Kayaks are put away until spring
Kayak rentals are closed for the winter and will be back next spring when lake season opens. In the meantime, if you have any questions about next summer, just give the shop a call.
