Summer Rentals · Downtown CDA
An e-bike lets you cover more ground and ride longer, and the hills take a lot less effort. You can cruise the Centennial Trail, explore downtown, or head out to the scenic routes around North Idaho, and riders of every skill level are welcome.
E-bike rentals are closed for the winter and will be back next spring once the trails dry out. In the meantime, the bikes and rates below are from this past season, and if you have any questions about next summer, just give the shop a call.
The fleet
We have four e-bikes to choose from, ranging from easy beach cruisers to full suspension mountain bikes. If you're not sure which one is right for you, call the shop and we'll help you pick.
Featured bike
It's a Class 2 cruiser with a throttle as well as pedal assist, so you can ride it like a normal bike or let it do the work for you. It sits upright and is easy to get on and off, and it's the one most riders end up staying on.

A comfortable cruiser for flat paved trails and getting around downtown.
A hardtail electric mountain bike for gravel, doubletrack and mellow singletrack.
A full suspension e-MTB, built for Canfield Mountain and technical singletrack.
The trails
The Centennial Trail is the only one that starts right at our door. The other three are worth the drive, and we rent bike racks if you need one to get there.
Riders
We rented a couple cruiser e-bikes and a bike trailer for kids and had a blast riding around the lake. We were able to ride to a trail right from the shop. We were vacationing so we appreciated the clear directions to the trail. Staff was so friendly and accommodating. We walked in without a reservation and were able to rent the gear right away. Helmets were available for every age which was awesome. Recommend this shop to anyone wanting to cruise around beautiful CDA!
Visiting from Scottsdale, AZ! The staff was very helpful, fitted us quickly and efficiently, and the overall process was easy. They also had great recommendations about where to ride and provided us with trails that were absolutely gorgeous. We took the e-bikes out for four hours and did not experience any difficulties. Highly recommend! :)
We were visiting from Germany and rented e-bikes at this place to do the trail of the Coeur d'alenes. It was a beautiful trip and the staff was super friendly. The prices were really affordable as well. The place had lots of great skis as well, used and new with great prices. Best e-bike and ski shop I have visited in CDA so far. Thank you so much for your help and expertise.
Wow, awsome experience. Jensen, who was in charge, was incredibly helpful in getting us fitted properly for our ride. The folks gave us some great suggestions on which trails to ride as well. Ebikes are a great way to explore the town.

Before you book
Rentals start at $39 for two hours. The Vida e-cruiser is $59 for two hours, and the Giant electric mountain bikes run from $39 up to $149 depending on the model and how long you keep it. Every rental includes a helmet and a lock. You'll see more time options once you pick your dates in the booking tool.
Not at all. Our e-bikes use pedal assist, so they're easy to ride whatever your fitness level. We'll get you oriented before you head out and give you trail recommendations based on what you're looking for.
A helmet and a lock come with every rental, along with a basic orientation on the bike and trail recommendations for where you're headed, and you can choose a half day or full day.
The Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes is a 73-mile paved trail along the river and lake, which makes it ideal for e-bikes. The North Idaho Centennial Trail runs right through downtown CDA, and Canfield Mountain has singletrack above the city with lake views. The Route of the Hiawatha is further out, but it's worth it for the tunnels and trestles through the Bitterroot Mountains.
Walk-ins are welcome. Reserving online locks in the bike and the time slot you want, though, so it's the safer bet if you have a specific plan in mind.
You'll pick up at our shop at 1325 E Sherman Ave in downtown Coeur d'Alene, and we're open daily from 10am to 6pm.
