Spokane River Centennial Trail
A 40-mile paved National Recreation Trail following the Spokane River from Nine Mile Falls, Washington to the Idaho state line, where it connects with the North Idaho Centennial Trail for a seamless ride into Coeur d'Alene.
About the trail
The Spokane River Centennial Trail has been a National Recreation Trail since May 24, 2010. It runs 40 miles from Sontag Park in Nine Mile Falls, Washington to the Idaho state line, where it continues another 24 miles as the North Idaho Centennial Trail through Post Falls and into Coeur d'Alene.
Together the two trails form a 64-mile continuous paved route from Nine Mile Falls to Higgins Point on Lake CDA -- one of the longest paved multi-use trails in the Inland Northwest. The trail follows the Spokane River through some of the most scenic stretches of the region.

Rent an e-bike and ride both trails
Start from our shop on Sherman Ave in Coeur d'Alene and ride the North Idaho Centennial Trail west to the state line, then continue onto the Spokane River Centennial Trail into Washington. An e-bike makes the full combined route manageable in a day.
